Me And My Golf Launches First Range of Training Aids

By: Golfshake Editor | Tue 12 Jul 2022 | Comments

Designed by world-renowned PGA coaches, Me And My Golf’s Breaking Balls Putting Mat range helps golfers develop their confidence and ability on undulating greens without needing to be at the golf course.

The patented breaking ball technology is being referred to in the golf industry as the most significant advancement in home putting since the invention of the putting mat itself.

While other putting mats on the market help you practice 1 type of putt - a straight putt - the Breaking Balls putting mat allows you to practice hundreds of different variations.

And Me And My Golf’s putting mat has already been recognised by trusted independent golf consumer brand MyGolfSpy, beating a host of established commercial mats in its prestigious Most Wanted test series and clinching 3rd place in the Best Putting Mat of 2022.

The mat comes with three colour-coded, scientifically designed weight-bias golf balls.

Me And My Golf

The balls have been manufactured to generate a specific trajectory, simulating the different degrees of break you would find on a real putting green:

  • Green - Slight Break
  • Red - Medium Break
  • Blue - Heavy Break

The three different weights allow golfers to master their set-up routine, pace control and start line to become a much more confident golfer on undulating greens.

Me And My Golf co-founder and PGA coach Piers Ward said: “The biggest reason we see people missing putts is because they are not allowing for enough break.

“Over 40% of all shots on the golf course are made with the putter and over 90% of those are breaking putts. This training aid is going to dramatically help improve your game and give you a chance to regularly practice something that previously was very difficult to simulate away from the course.

“Our mission has always been to help golfers improve as quickly as possible, and with this mat you no longer have to take the time to head to the golf club to practice the putts you need. You can do it all on this mat, no matter where you are.

The Breaking Balls Putting Mats are part of a whole new range of training aids launched by Me And My Golf, which also includes products to improve chipping, long irons, swing speed, ball striking, shot selection and much more.

Every training aid in the range includes unique, product-specific digital golf lessons created by Piers and Andy to help you gain optimum results and improve your game in the quickest possible time.

Significantly, the training videos will be available subtitled in multiple languages including, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Spanish and Dutch.

Andy Proudman, co-founder and PGA coach, said: “Ever since we became coaches, it has been a dream of ours to create our own training products. In fact, Me and My Golf was originally founded to do just that!

“We have been given that chance to realise a lifelong goal and we couldn’t be prouder of the range that has been created. We truly believe these products will help golfers all over the world and look forward to releasing even more ground-breaking products in 2023.”

The range is available to pre-order now at shop.meandmygolf.com.
