Bunker Mentality Elliott Windproof Gilet and Chevron Hat Review

Winter can be a tough time for golfers, particularly when it comes to selecting the correct outfit for the day. The team at Bunker Mentality continue to produce a whole host of golf apparel to ensure gofers look stylish whatever the weather. Recently, I have been trying out their Elliott Windproof Gilet as well as the exceptionally warm, Chevron Bobble hat. Keep reading to find out what I thought of the products.

Chevron Bobble Hat

I have been thoroughly impressed with this piece since the first time I put it on. Whilst it offers warmth and insulation thanks to the fleece lined turn-up, the hat does not make your head feel like it is overheating as is the case with some other winter hats out there. Having been playing my golf in Yorkshire recently, there has been the odd gust of wind and the Chevron hat has ensured that the warmth of my head and ears are maintained well. In addition to the performance of the hat, I am also a fan of the Chevron pattern on the exterior. The black/grey/red colourway fits really nicely with a range of outfits and particularly complements the black/red colourway of the Elliott Gilet.

Elliott Windproof Gilet

I was keen to discover exactly what a gilet could add to a golfing outfit as it had not previously been and item that I’d considered. The Elliott Gilet provided me with a solid answer to this and has proved to be a nice addition to my wardrobe. The windproof technology makes a huge difference in keeping your upper body warm and allowing you to play golf without worrying about getting too cold. As a gilet has no sleeves, I found that whilst being kept warm, my movement was not in any way hampered. This was perhaps the most impressive aspect for me. Again, the design of gilet is stylish, modern and slick, meaning that I looked good as well as felt good, particularly when I looked for my ball amongst the trees.

Overall, I was really impressed with both of these products and would not hesitate in picking up some more items from the Bunker Mentality brand.
