Review Information

What the club says: The par 71 course that measures 6,857 yards is a memorable journey from the first tee to the 18th green. The superbly manicured fairways are undulating, demarcated by mounds, date and palm trees, and most other times by water. Apart from the Creek, which comes into play on at least four holes, several artificial lakes add to the beauty and difficulty of various other holes.

The presence of multiple tees ensures that golfers of all calibres enjoy their day out at the course. While length of the tee helps, the premium is certainly on accuracy, especially with the approach shots as most of the greens are multi-tiered with subtle borrows.

The Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club course sets up for a thrilling finale to a round with its two par 4 closing holes. The 17th and 18th have the Creek guarding the entire left side of the fairway. While the 17th can still be conquered with some smart play, the 18th requires mandatory cerebral involvement on every shot. There is water on the left and a long bunker on the right, beyond which is water again. A good drive will still leave you with a long iron into the tiered and sloping green, which is guarded at the front and right by a body of water.

Golf does not end at sunset at Dubai Creek as the feature packed Par 3 course, a well-equipped Driving Range and the Club’s outstanding practice facilities are all floodlit to allow play late into the night.

Favourite views in Dubai (played Feb 2022)

Absolutely love this course - especially the views. Every time I fly to Dubai I get excited just being in the taxi going to my hotel as I always cross the bridge over the Deira Creek next to the course and you can see the magnificent club house lit up in various colours at night. It is a sight to behold amongst all the bright lights of Dubai.

Played the course 3 times and always enjoyed it. It is a first class experience. The club house facilities, restaurant, pro shop etc are amazing. The best golf course views in Dubai with some cracking views of the creek (especially running all down the left on 17 & 18) which have to be the toughest closing holes for a hooker/puller off the tee. As well as the par 3 fifth and floating tee platform on six (where do you get such fun on a golf course?).

Superb quality tees, fairways and greens as you'd expect it is not cheap but I took advantage of a twilight round which provided some great sunset photos too.

Fav course in Dubai!

Favourite in Dubai

Played here twice during my trip, once in a casual round and again in the Lincoln Open.

Hospitality here is always spot on, everyone is welcoming, friendly and more than happy to help. The course is in great condition as always, pleasure to play. Easy to navigate with the perfect mix of tough holes requiring some course management and large open fairways and water. Lakeside restaurant gets a thumbs up too for their Salmon Poke bowl

Excellent Day At The Creek

Superb day at the Creek course via an excellent deal on Dubai golf. Very hot but very friendly staff and a course in great condition offering a wonderful golfing challenge.

Fantastic course, many memorable holes. Cannot wait to return and beat my score. Played well front 9 but wheels came off back 9 very hot !!!
Excellent service both on the course and the clubhouse were the food was great.

What a place to play golf.
If you can cope with the heat and the size of the bunkers then this is for you.
Not cheap but worth the money with a signature hole to die for.
