Reviews for New Sierra Golf

I’ve been playing New Sierra many times now for the last 4 years and I have seen fantastic improvements made in that time. However recently it’s popularity has grown considerably and the greens have suffered as a direct result of this but worse than that is the need for a course ranger to keep things moving as the slow play can be very frustrating with players having 2/3 holes empty in front of them.
The greens I’m sure will be improved soon but the need for a course ranger is drastic
Speaking as a member of this club I love the course, the Staff are always very helpful but getting on the timesheet is almost impossible, as we can only book 1 Month in advance but societies can and do book way ahead of that. All that said with just a few improvements we hope to enjoy many years of Golf in New Sierra.

Great Challenge
Front 9 there are some challenging holes, par 5 1st and the Par 5 4th are both long. The par 3 3rd is not an easy hole. Back 9 is very long with a lot of ravines coming into play. Par 3 13th is a challenge for sure with water all left. Par 3 17th is a "go for it" shot. Par 5 18th is the longest hole on the course to finish.Reviewer Rating

Lovely Course
They had a pga event here one week ago so the course was in mint condition. The greens were great, however post the tournament some of the "moss" seems to have been treated and gone brown. They were spiking and sanding the greens. The back 9 has been improved dramatically. Great day out.Reviewer Rating

The course is preparing for a PGA event next week. As ever greens are brilliant. The ground staff are working hard on the fairways for next week. Looking really good.Reviewer Rating

Much Improved
Having played this course many times, I have to say it continues to improve. Especially the back 9 fairways, a lot of work has been done by the greens staff and their work deserves to be recognised. Greens have always been excellent but the work carried our especially on the back 9 has improved the course greatly. Thanks to all the greens staffReviewer Rating

Great improvement on back 9
The front 9 has always been good. They have worked a lot on the fairways on the back 9. Each week they have made them better, to the point now that the back and front 9s are pretty similar. Greens have always been excellent. Nice course.Reviewer Rating

Old & new
Course is made up of two 9 holes. Front 9 has been in existence for a while, back 9 is approx 3 years old. The back 9 has significantly improved over last 6 months due to the work the grounds taffy have done. All 18 greens are excellent. Fairly flat but some tricky holes on both 9s. Well worth playing.Reviewer Rating

Front 9 excellent, back 9 improving, greens all over are superb
We are members here and play every week. Originally it was a 9 hole course, so? the front 9 are well established. The back 9 is newer but the club are doing a lot of work improving it week by week. The greens are some of the best greens you will play in Murcia.Reviewer Rating
