The technology failed in the cart. There are
no markings on the tees so we really struggled to find our way round the course which was very frustrating. Tees weren't numbered at all !!

Hard to find entrance to with all the new roads and poor signage.
Tough course.
Really annoying that the holes are not marked and it all relies on cart technology to tell you what hole but when that goes wrong there's nothing to help you wayfind. Spolied round a bit

Played for first time and very impressed with course conditions given the very hot climate that they have to work with. All in a great condition and there were plenty of water stations for rehydration.

Wow this is one challenging long and very narrow course! Typical Greg Norman with very strategically placed bunkers and knolls of long grassy and scrubby rough. Be prepared to either leave the driver at home unless you are very straight with it or you will loose a lot of balls. However, at around£80 including the GPS equipped cart and range balls (allowing you to warm up on the quality grass practice range) I did not feel I had paid over the odds as this is obviously a very very high quality course with superb greens and fairways with stunning views of the Arabian Gulf and the Muscat mountains!!
