What The Club Says
The East Sea Golf Course in Taicang, China, is one of Monty's masterpieces. Using all his 10 years of experience as a professional golfer and the understanding of the characteristics of golf courses around the world, he proposed an adventurous design plan. His design was characterized by many pools and sand pits, and it almost achieves the effect of "you will see water around every hole, and you will encounter sand pits everywhere". Maybe it is because of his nostalgia for his hometown St. Andrews that Montgomerie always designs courses with a rich Scottish flavor.
