What The Club Says
There is a natural difficulty in describing how to play any seaside course owing to the changing winds. You should read the suggestions noted on each of the hole pages and perhaps they will be of some help. Although the club is located on the South Coast the course lies on a North-South Axis. It runs out for 9 holes with the prevailing South West wind at your back.
Many professional and amateur golfers have enjoyed playing this course, among them the great Harry Vardon.

Fabulous
What a course! Brilliant fun, bloody tough in equal measure.All the staff make you feel so welcome too.
Loads of memorable holes. This is a must play course if you like links golf.
The greens were fantastic. Becasue of the long hot summer, the fairways are running forever.
Is it worth ?160 a round? Debatable. But probably.
If you like a course souvenir the Pro Shop is stuffed with stuff you'll love.
The breakfast was spot on too.

Love the location on a summer day gentle breeze it’s very peaceful place to play .. shame the fees have gone up to £160 .. don’t see the sea much which is a shame .. but a true links test .. rough in the summer Is impossible to get out of .. hard test on ur day can score well .. half the price of it’s sandwich neighboursReviewer Rating

Lots of deep, well-placed bunkers that mean distance control is essential. Unless you can fly your drive 300+yds, a shorter club is often best from the tees.

QUALITY GOLF COURSE
I loved this course as it had some very interesting holes, greens were great and the club house was very traditional and friendly.The rough was high but but still an enjoyable round.
