Casa Serena was designed by European Golf Design as an inland links golf course with wide rolling fairways and large welcoming greens. Utilizing many different tee positions on each hole Casa Serena gives all standards of golfer a tough test. Well placed bunkers are ready to punish any wayward stroke and any shot ending in the knee high pure fescue rough will be heavily penalized. The pure L93 agrostis greens are a large target but do prove tricky when trying to make putts. Large undulations coupled with subtle breaks and green speed reaching 12 on the stimp meter test even the best of players.

Casa Serena is host to the European Seniors tour, Casa Serena Open which takes place every September and has been held here since 2008. We have been fortunate to have 2 great champions in our first 2 years with Bernhard Langer winning in 2008 and Peter Mitchell taking the 90,000 euro first prize in 2009. The golf course for both events was in exceptional condition with many complimentary comments being made by players and spectators alike. These same fantastic tournament conditions can be found at Casa Serena throughout the golfing season and for all corporate events.
