What the club says: The course is challenging for the best players in the world but at the same time enjoyable for all golfers. Stretching 7,538 yards from the tips, it features four sets of teeing areas to suit individual golfers.
Opened in March 2008, The Els Club is the newest addition to golf in Dubai. Set in a unique environment, you get a genuine sense of playing golf in the desert, exactly what Els wanted to achieve with his “desert links” design. With immaculate fairways and greens, and set on undulating slopes of native desert vegetation, the 7,538 yard course offers golfers a true test of their abilities. With four sets of tees on each hole, the course can be enjoyed by golfers of all levels. With luxury off course facilities, the Els Club is quite simply a must play golf course.

The Els club offers a great challenge for a variety of different golf abilities. The recent storms had meant there was some flood damage - but the course had bounced back and was playing well

Stunner of a course
Enjoyed my round, great practice facilities and then you see the club house which is just fabulous. Great quality course built inland of Dubai. Top quality as you'd expect.The 9th hole is really tough driving hole and the approach to hugely elevated green - be short at your peril - a card wrecker right in front of the club house. One of the toughest holes I've ever played - but utterly loved it.

The course was in excellent condition and the scenery was beautiful. Everything about the course was stunning, from the quality of the course to the clubhouse. However, what struck me most was the warm and professional welcome I received from the staff.

local course in UAE
nice course depending on the time of year, it is challenging and more so after maintenance has been done on the greens, but well worth playing(Round played: Mar 2020 - Score: 120 Handicap: 34)

The Els Club
A beautiful course and really well laid out. Great to play in the sun, greens were very tough but that was a good thing. Not my best golf in 45 degree heat but so glad we played it(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 104 Handicap: 19.3)

The course is in fantastic condition and is very challenging. Look for deals as it can be pricey but if you do get a good price the round is definitely worth it. Beautiful club.

front 9 terrible condition, course overall in poor shape - no drinks on course, bar not open not value for money. Understand its ramadan but overall poor experience and over priced

Great course and experience

Stunning!!
Played the Els Club yesterday and my lord what a treat!! I came to Dubai looking to play a round with my wife driving around in the Buggy with me. Having tried several clubs in Dubai, including the Emirates, they all said that she wasn’t allowed on the course or I had to pay full price for her to sit in the buggy and drive around! I then contacted the Els Club who were incredibly accommodating and advised me that they would only charge me for additional buggy if I was put in a 4 ball and she had to come with me. Fair enough.The club itself is unreal. I can’t actually believe that it is only ranked around 10th best course in Dubai! I’d this site case then those ranked lower must be incredible!
Immaculate greens, rolling fairways and what felt like a fair few hundred bunkers, all in perfect condition, make the course a delight. GPS in every buggy and well marked out tracks for the carts mean that the course condition can be preserved much longer.
Make sure you book online as the rates are way cheaper online. You also get a gift voucher worth £20 to spend in the pro shop just for buying your round online. They say that the pace of play is 4 hours 10 minutes. A 4 ball should easily do this in just under the 4 hour mark given that you have Buggy’s.
A fantastic course. I’ll be playing again!!
