New Owners

Although there as some confusion (read booking lost in the system) with our booking and no buggy available, the Pro managed to salvage what could have been a challenging afternoon. The fairway as akin to a links grass but green staff were working hard to keep it in fair condition. All in all a friendly and welcoming reception, making a pleasant experience. Keep your eyes on this club, future plans look interesting.

Played the course when on holiday 2 weeks ago and was quite impressed, I understand that the course has been taken over and is steadily recovering, the greens were OK and course fairly long for 9 holes. Well worth the money and will return.

I have been a play and pay member here for this last season at £99 for the year plus £4 per nine xeg holes it represents excellent value for money. This course was closed and badly neglected until being taken on by the present team. I have seen the course improve steadily over the year thanks to the very hard work of the groundstaff Craig and Paul notably, I will agree the greens and tees need further work but it is improving all the time.
The whole team at this venue have put in some tremendous hard work to get it where it is now a decent challenge of golf especially when the wind blows as it often does. Nikki Chantry the resident pro deserves a mention for the excellent lessons at a very good price. I would say give it a go you may be pleasantly surprised. My membership will be upgraded this year to full as a vote of my confidence.

i was a 5 day member ehen it was an 18 hole course, it got badly run down and eventually the owner went bankrupt. it is now just 9 holes, being the old front 9,since being taken over by the owners of north shore, skegness, and being run by nikki chantry, it has improved beyond all recognition, a first class job is being carried out there, although only 9 holes,it is a very interesting course to play and enjoy, and is a credit to the groundsman,

I was a five day country member until it closed in 2012. Quite a testing course, but needed a lot of work doing to the course but don't think the then owners had the financial cash. The club house was excellent but not run properly. Good luck to the new owners and to Nikki chantry, who knows one day I may return after joining north shore

How can you not find your ball on the fairway? it's not like there not wide enough is it, lets talk properly here shall we.. And as far as i can gather the tee's are being done as were on temporary on's at the min and all bunkers are G.U.R. till next spring. I know the course had alot of damage a few years ago and it takes a bit to get over that, so give them a chance. Come see for yourselfs next year.

A decent course which I played when I was on holiday in Skegness. Has a lot of potential however does need to be looked after a little better. The wind conditions also made for an enjoyable if at time times tricky golf.
