Private course available for public play if you are staying at the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge. The course is an old fashioned master piece. A river comes into play on several holes. Wooden bridges are used to cross the river at several point. The course puts a premium on placement not power. Greens, fairways, bunkers, and tee boxes are in great shape. Wonderful mountain scenery. The staff made my ten year old feel welcomed. Played two rounds and they were each just under four hours. Will definitely play again when I am back in the area. The course is a true gem, fun, challenging, and fair.
