The course is amazing and was in great condition with good greens, not the fastest but fair and well maintained. This is a very scenic course with well carved holes. There are few situations where a 150y carry is required son it can be an issue for high handicappers and older players.

Pace of play is an issue though but it should be expected from a public course. Played on a Friday and took us 4.5h with a foursome in front.

The golf staff was very nice, we did not go in the club house. The club house is a "temporary" construction that has been there for years.not the club to go for its amenities.

This course is billed as the No1 public course in New England and the course itself lives up to that billing. Fast undulating greens, penal rough and a strong sea breeze means this is more a British style inland links course and should be played with that in mind. Only issue was that the course was closed for the afternoon for a golf day and therefore we were asked to leave the course with one hole to play! At USD125 that is not on at all and spoilt the day.

This course was originally to have been one of a pair in a significant development. But at present there is just the one. Fascinating to play as it looks as though it will be a parkland course (as the name suggests) but gets progressively more open. As it heads towards the sea on the back nine and the sea breeze builds, you find youself battling with links style conditions on a track with lakes and patches of heavy rough to get over. Including some protected wetlands or eco-habitat. So take a few extra balls on your first time round.
A course this good should have better facilities though. In the week, there is no real food service or bar to keep you there afterwards, but the course did bring us back for a second game regardless. The staff were very friendly and helpful and so recieved a good tip.
