What the club says: We are a par 71 mountain course nestled in the Tennessee mountains, a short drive from Chattanooga. For such a short course it's a definite challenge and for such a definite challenge it plays fair. As with many mountain courses it plays through rolling hills so it plays longer than the yardage book indicates. The fairways are tight so errant shots could make you pay with lost strokes.

The scenery is picturesque & our views are absolutely breathtaking. You'll play over water, boulders, and even stare off the edge of the mountain while stroking a putt or two. Come join us at Montlake Golf Club and we'll raise your expectations.

Terribly maintained course, long fairway grass, small spotty greens. Challenging mountain course. I play the course only in a fundraising tournament . No cost to fundraising participants.

Played annual fundraiser. Course was in the usual poor condition….uncut fairway grass for the morning, difficult to find balls; greens were bumpy with areas of bareness. No true putting found. Course layout demands accurate shot placement with postage stamp size greens. Mountain course so many elevation Al changes from tee to greens. Play paid by fundraising organization. Food also provided by fundraising organization.

Really Bad Condition

Play course as part of fundraiser for non profit organization. Otherwise I would not play the course for fun / leisure in its most recent (last 5 years) conditions. It could be a lovely mountain course.

Fairway grass high and overtaken by clover, difficult to locate your ball in fairway. Greens are rough, irregular and slow
