Thunderbird Country Club in Rancho Mirage holds historical significance as the first 18-hole course built in the Coachella Valley and host of the 1955 Ryder Cup. The layout is generally straightforward and accessible, offering a fair test with some greens featuring notable contours and multiple approach options.
