What happened? Lake Hefner 5 yrs ago was a great golf course. Poor course management, maintenance and that’s led to a complete golf course failure. Bad greens, dead tee boxes and a driving range that looks like a parking lot. It’s a shame and it will take a big change to fix the course. You know there’s a problem when you ask the guys in the club house which course to play and they tell you to go to Trosper or Lincoln. Save your $ and go to Trosper or Lincoln.

The course is in very good shape. They have received a lot of rain this year thus good fairways and greens.

It is still early for the grass to grow, but the course is in good shape and fun to play.

For this time of the year course is in great shape. Fairways still a little thin, but recent rains have helped course.

Hefner has a north and south course.
I think the north course is the better play.
Both courses well maintained and marshaled.
Well stocked club house with good snack bar.
They overseed the course, so it always has good fairways and greens.
Recommend you try both courses - don't think you will be disappointed.
