Great casual golf course

This course is one of the cheapest in the area, the staff are great and the food and drink available is also very reasonably priced.

The holes are challenging to me (as a beginner) and they offer a great variety. One of the only golf courses I feel i can take my daughter as this does seem more aimed at casual players and it is a lot more accessible to the general public than others.

Great little course with lovely cafe

With new owners now settled in, the course is well tended and the cafe is open to all - dogs are welcome. A thoroughly enjoyable 9 hole leisure pursuit set in mature parkland.. a lovely setting and a great family day out for us.

Some greens are hidden by woods, but good variety of holes for occasional players. Greens do not get watered in dry spells, but fairways always in good enough condition. Mats on tees are reasonable, but play off grass to the side if prefer. For informal public golfing, very good.

I have played on this course quite a lot and i think its great. The staff are polite and helpfull. I do think it needs maybe a bigger car park other than that its great. Also av got round it scoring 49 and as a begginer i thing thats good, although av lost loads of balls lol.

Nice round of golf for the price, some challenging holes that have obstacles meaning you have options on how to take the hole although almost all of the holes are flat with no real difference in levels.

Sorry but this is more like a kids playground than a Golf course! The tee's are in terrible condition; bare, rock hard, uneven. Now the greens......rather the "browns"! They have no grass on them! Just bare rock hard earth! No amount of spin will stop the ball from shooting off the back of the green, and putting is a joke! The ball jumps around all over the place and even bounce off the edge of the metal cups! There is nothing good to say about this course I'm afraid. Save your money.
