What a great course, the PGA play this course The Valspar Championship and it proved to be a challenging difficult course, the greens were a little slow but hard to read, the facilities, staff and bar / restaurant were all excellent, a must for any keen golfer.

Played COPPERHEAD for 1st time and had a great time. Having watched 2 PGA Tour events here, it was a treat to play. We played up tees (group of old guys) so wasnt exactly Tour difficulty, but was fun.
We had a group rate so was affordable..usual rate is $300 and way out of our budget. I would recommend getting a group together of 25 or so to get the best off season rate.
Im sure that greens are faster for tour tournament but greens were very speedy for us as well. Downhill putts were impossible, but surface was perfect so if you had the line you could make some putts.
Lastly, bunkering ...I was in more sand than Lawrence of Arabia...but I got up and down out of bunkers 3 times so i was happy!

Great course. To bad it rained wile we were playing. It was the first time I had played this course.
