Sad How Te Mighty Have Fallen
What used to be our MOST favorite course in Florida has become one to avoid. The staff and management have ruined our experience here forever! The course itself is excellent, but you can't avoid the stupidity and the brashness of the staff. They only care about the money and that is a HUGE change from several years ago. Crammed tee times and a definite sense of "What do I care!" has invaded the once Gem of Florida.Reviewer Rating

Not to be missed
Played July 2018 just after the course had been vertidrained and sanded,you wouldn't have known it was in fabulous condition,we even got a cheaper rate due to this,but the greens ran perfectly true,testament to the skill of the green keeper.The only downside was the pace of play,for some reason we ended up with 5 groups on the 10 tee! so we had to play the first 9 again otherwise I don't think we would have finished.Reviewer Rating

A cracking golf course
What a wonderful golf course at southern dunes. The fairways were in superb condition and the greens fast and true. The many bunkers are also very well raked. Very friendly staff throughout and great facilities. We will be back!Reviewer Rating

Southern Dunes is a lush, exciting and challenging course. All staff members are present for the sole purpose of making every visit a fabulous experience. The atmosphere is never 'stuffy'. Welcoming and effective would be my choice of description. The only negative thing I'd have to say is that SD is pricing itself out of the market. Maybe their market is big business that doesn't need to be concerned with cost. With The Cdn dollar exchange rate, a $160 US round for two people, becomes $235.00 Cdn. Too costly to play frequently. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect to see management do something for Dunes Club Card Holders.

Played a round here while on holiday in the complex. The course was being set up for a local Amateur competition so the greens were very, very quick. There are over 180 bunkers on this course so if you like a bit of sand (like me) there is a fair chance you will see some! I had a round with buggy, hire clubs, range balls for $75 which I thought was very good value.
