what a great course and what value for money. I rang the course to book a tee-time and as it was in the afternoon and red hot and humid, and i mean red hot, they said dont bother booking. Club staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. the course is a challenge and unfortunately still suffering from jet lag and the red hot heat it was OK for the front 9 but this took its toll on the back 9. I suggest that you need to play early to get the benefit of this course.

as usual, sloping greens which i personally find easier to read and play than flat greens. whatever you do, get in the rough, watch out for the usual suspects....snakes...red crawly things etc but you can still play out of most of it.

greens had not been mowed the day i played so they were a tad slow but this was due to some unexpected rainfall in the morning. i had originally booked to play willow springs (they are all part of the San Antonio Golf Trail) but due to the rain a 140 person competition didnt get off and were 3 hours behind. canned that and went to Cedar Creek.

Only let down was that the bar was closed so beer and snacks were obtained from a vending machine
Recommend this if you are in the area.
