What the club says: Oceanside golf course opened in 1972. Oceanside Golf Course features 18 holes of championship golf in the City of Oceanside. Located on the outer edges of Camp Pendleton, golfers have views of undisturbed hillsides and native habitat while playing golf in the cool ocean breeze of north county San Diego.

The greens were aerated last month. The greens are in perfect shape, putting fast and true.

Fairways in really good shape. No "GROUNDS UNDER REPAIR" markings. Greens typically fast.

Refcent rains restored green fairways. Some lower lying areas in the rough still need to dry out.

3 or4 tee boxes were being replaced without affecting play. Greens were well maintained . A couple of weeks of good rain would do the dried out fairway a lot of good. The good news is that there is extra roll-out with the dry conditions.

Last year's renovations increased visual appearance. Gens are in great shape, fast and slippery.
