Brooklea back 9

New course layout shortens up the total length keeping the 9 holes on the same side of the highway. Great course to learn on. Some holes between 6th and 8th tees are located very close so be aware of the players teeing off behind you. There are fences but they don't do much except protect from low miss hits.

Most holes are fairly easy and straight forward. 5 and 9 offer the most challenge. Hole 5 deals with a winding creek on 5 making it really narrow. Several features around the green on 9 like the large tree at the end of fairway, sharp drop to a semi blind plateaued and narrow green make for a tricky hole for the amateur golfer.

Well kept greens were on the slower side when I played in September.
