sandy Lane, Country Club course
Played Sandy Lane, Country Club course today, off Gold tips (referred to as Ability on their score card). This tee box measures full course length of 7,060 yards, which unfortunately does not appear in Golf Shake, making it difficult to enter my score. Course was immaculate.Reviewer Rating

The course was in great condition despite torrential rain and the greens were very good but difficult to read. A caddie is a must when playing here

Beautiful setting
Excellent course and beautifully maintained. Caddies very knowledgeable. Green fees very expensive.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 14.6)

World Class
Sandy Lane has always been a world class venue and the golf courses reflect this you would be hard press to find another venue world wide with better putting surfaces(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 12.8)

Fantastic Greens
Everything about this venue is first class has been for centuries and the golf course is in keeping with that tradition, however you have to have a caddy which is beneficial for helping you to read the greens, however if you get a 'bad one' which can and does happen you round can be very frustrating.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 85 Handicap: 9.5)

Brilliant course and one that was on the bucket list. Very exclusive and unless you are a hotel guest you cannot even buy Green Monkey merchandise! You MUST practice on the putting green as the greens are lightning fast but beware if off the green - getting to grips with the pace is essential to a decent round.

I played the Green Monkey in May 2008. Magical? Yes. Stunning? Certainly. Only negative is that i'll probably never have the chance to play there again!
