What the club says: A challenge for golfers of all abilities, miss the immaculate grass of the fairways and greens and you enter the 'sandy waste', which makes the most of the natural terrain with its indigenous shrubs and bushes. All standards of golfers will appreciate the GPS yardage service available on every golf cart.
Our long term goal has always been to be able to evolve with the golf course as it changes. We are always looking for new ways to make your golfing experience with us an enjoyable one

Lovely course
Tees could do with being flatter but the rest of the course is very good. The layout with a godo mixture of short and long holes is a decent challenge and the greens are superb. The facilities are also superb. Highly recommended course.Reviewer Rating

First visit - great experience.
First visit & first golf in Dubai so little to benchmark against however?.great welcome from everyone we met in the clubhouse, pro shop & round the course. Course was immaculate, felt like a links course without pot bunkers, great big undulating greens and tight fairways. Wasn't a stand out course, but was very good.Reviewer Rating

Still an unsung hero
The Desert Course at Arabian Ranches remains one of my favourite courses, but yet it never gets the recognition it deserves. The past few years the club have continued to improve the playing conditions, and I have to say the greens and fairways are almost perfect. With the lack of rain it's no mean feat to produce a course in such great condition. I will always recommend people the play here. Rates are usually a lot fairer than other more 'prestigious' local courses which are in much poorer condition.(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 94 Handicap: 16)

A Return to the Ranches
The last time I played Arabian Ranches I was very disappointed, not only in my game but in the way the course was prepared. It wasn't very good. 18 Months later I went back to play again, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Since my last visit there's been a change in green keeping staff. And it shows. All 18 putting surfaces have been relayed. No more patches, no more uneven bounces, no more variation in green speed. Great!!. Fairways too are in much better condition. I had the pleasure of accompanying 2 local members for my round and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This is how golf should be. A really friendly club, and superb value for money. It's cheaper than any other 18 hole course in Dubai. I'll be recommending to my friends to come back and play.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 95 Handicap: 17.3)

Good course and facilities
Shotgun start so always a bit different as not starting on the 1st / 10th, however course was enjoyable to play and interesting as most of the rough is just desert! Nice facilities and vibrant club house. Only slight gripe we were running a little late and asked for the kitchen to expedite the food order and this wasn't taken on board.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 21.1)

Disappointing condition
Played Arabian Ranches on 23rd February 2018 and was very disappointed with the condition of the course. I've played this track a number of times over the past 8 years and have to say that this was the worst I have ever seen any course in the region. Fairways and greens were in a very poor state, and we were not advised that some were in the process of being treated. Added to this was the lack of marshals out on the course to 'nudge' the slower groups. A genuinely disappointing outing. I sincerely hope the course improves because it is a great challenge when it's presented well.(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 93 Handicap: 16.9)

Early start, great weather, course in great condition and playing reasonably fair. Quickish greens with no hidden breaks. All in all a great day.

Very nice course, nice and easy access, greens are in a bad condition but i believe they are being fixed.
Played early morning and not much refreshments on the course.
Apart from that nice course grass on the fairways was well maintained.
