Compact Pete Dye course
We played this course in January 2020 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The course is varied and not overly long, but shot placement is important, as some of the approaches to the greens are narrow. A feature of several holes are steel inclines on one or both sides of the green - if you land in the wrong spot and your ball rolls in there, you will find yourself chipping back to a putting surgace above your head. The greens often slope or are undulated, so pin position can be critical. The course was in excellent condition, the only exception being some tees, which were a bit bare. Add good-natured and competent caddies, and you will have a great day.We should mention that we played on a promotional price of 1650 Baht for greenfee, caddy and cart. The normal greenfee is around 3700 THB.
