What The Club Says

A 70 par, 18-hole golf course Designed by two-time world golf champion Manolo Piñero. Maximum distance for men is 5,550 metres and 4,800 metres for women.

Located just 8 kilometres south of the international airport, this fun course is comprised of mounds, dunes, desert areas and four lakes. This entertaining golf course will challenge players’ technical ability while demanding a good dose of strategy.

The course is a real treasure on the island of Fuerteventura, whose mild climate averages 24ºC year round with some of the most agreeable summer temperatures in Spain.

Disappointed

Having seen pictures online the course looked quite pretty but in reality the course was shabby and the lakes empty. Although the website said the restaurant was not open until 1pm, coming off the course at 12:38 we thought they would at least serve us a drink whilst we waited for the kitchen to open but the doors were hastily shut on us. Note they do not have bottles of water or soft drinks

Has great potential

We played the course 3 times and it was like millionaire golf as the club is in administration. Considering they are operating on minimal staff, the course played surprisingly well.
All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Young staff on duty are very good. Friendly and prices are reasonable. The other reviews say the club is in receivership, I would say that's pretty obvious. The club has severely gone downhill since my last visit. No buggies for hire despite 20 being there and that is the tip of the iceberg. No Pro-Shop anymore and some of the fairways are tired. Most greens still look great and I hope somebody can restore this to it's former glory, but looks like the end is near.

Good Greens

Played 3 times at this course over the past 2 weeks. The Course is in Receivership so check in is a desk with essentials only and no Pro Shop.
Given the situation the team have worked very hard to keep the Course in a playable condition. The greens, fairways and tee beds were in great condition with the rough and practise area needing attention.
Though not a long course there are lots of shots over water and large ash waste areas to catch you out.
Give it a try - certainly not a Championship Course like Fuerteventura GC but fine for holiday golf and all the staff are super friendly.

Very disappointing

Very disappointing as this is across the road from Fuerteventura GC, which was fantastic. It couldn't have been any more opposite. The facilities were non-existent as were the shop, clubhouse and non use of buggies, which was a massive no-no abroad. The staff were friendly enough but we were told the course has been in receivership for a while hence the disappointment with the booking. The layout had potential but lacked any care and maintenance. Played ok as a day out but wouldn't return until resolved.

Lovely course

Great course, much drier and firmer than Fuerteventura Golf course, almost more like UK course in the height of summer. Probably needs a couple of rounds to get to know better, driver isn't always the option, although I didn't work this out today! Food in the restaurant at the clubhouse is superb, make sure you eat there.
