Beautiful but tricky
A beautiful but very tricky course. Tough bunkers that seem to trap every shot. The greens are very fast and exceptionally well guarded by sand. There is a lot of run off the fairways onto gravel and sand in the scrub land, which makes recovery shots very difficult and mark your clubs accordingly. For all that said a fantastic course in cracking surroundings, a well stocked shop, large clubhouse and welcoming staff. Looking forward to tackling it again.Reviewer Rating

Challenging Course
Green side bunkers have been improved with addition of decent sand but could be better if stones are removed. Fairways ok considering how dry it is. All water holes very low.Having said that this is a lovely course and will challenge all levels.

Disappointing
A wide open course ideal for a Society outing but offering little in the way of a real challenge other than its length, playing almost 7000 yds off Yellows and 6550 yds off Blue.It is not particularly picturesque and few of the holes grab your attention although 8 and 12 both Par 3s over water might intimidate the higher handicapper. There are lots of bunkers and these are best avoided if only to protect your wedge - they are course sand with tiny stones. (Although whilst there they were on replacing some with a much finer sand)
With the yardages, the distance between holes and a smattering of members with no etiquette expect a 5hour round....so take plenty of water.
There is one other matter over which the management have no control, the whole development is surrounded by Pig Farms...some very large scale, and with the breeze in the wrong direction....say no more.
The Club House is fantastic, the staff helpful and friendly.

Oh what a shame
This could be quite a "desert" course but is let down by very poor/bare fairways and has clearly suffered from lack of water. The bunkers are basically grit. Long walks between holes so a buggy is recommended, expect a 4.5 hour round minimum.Reviewer Rating
