What the club says: Clovelly Golf Course and Country Club is situated between the villages of Fish Hoek and Kalk Bay. It is owned by Mr Raymond Ackerman, Chairman of the vast and efficient supermarket chain Pick ‘n Pay and it is a favourite course among visiting overseas guests not only for its lush appearance, but also for its excellent clubhouse facilities.
The course is well maintained and always in good condition. The modern clubhouse is perched high above the course, from where you have a vantage point over not only the 18th hole, but also the 1st and 10th holes which both feature sharp doglegs, to the right and left respectively. This will immediately tell you that accurate tee shots are required, something you will be reminded of constantly on this narrow course.
During the summer months, you can expect to have a little (and sometimes, a lot of) wind which adds to the difficulty on this very attractive course.

Stunning views.
Careful playing in the wind. It’s a score killer. The fairways are perfect and the greens are always immaculate. The rough can be punishing on a few holes and leave you with severe uphill or downhill lies(Round played: Dec 2017 - Score: 116 Handicap: 28.5)

Amazing course, it's a pleasure to play
The fairways are immaculate, the greens are the best I have ever played on and the rough is not going to make you cry. The water around the course is a real challenge but play the holes right and you will love it(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 105 Handicap: 0)

Upper class golf course

Well cared for course with a friendly membership & staff. Welcoming with generally good food. Course is very fair with some deceptive holes.

We having been playing at Clovelly for the past 14 years . The course is maintained to such a high standard. I would say it's one of the best courses I have ever played on .

Greens are in very good shape. Field moved nicely. 4 hours 15 for round including breakfast at halfway house.
