What The Club Says
Aroeira I is set in a 900 acre pine forest, Aroeira I is renowned as one of the best golf courses in continental Europe. Designed by the famed golf architect Frank Pennink, it has been in play since 1973 and has played host to the Portuguese Open in 1996 and 1997, as well as various Ladies Open Championships in its time.

Unfortunately, the fairways were littered with unreplaced divots and many bunkers had not been raked by previous players. The greens were very good.
There is a small bar/restaurant on site as well as a small pro shop. Plenty of rental trollies and buggies were available.
