What the club says: An eighteen-hole 6,132-metre course that, although flat and easy to walk, offers tightly sculptured tree-lined fairways and creative bunkering … situated a one wood from the sea. Maraenui requires accuracy or else one of it's many trees will surely grab your attention. It is fun and challenging to play, yet manageable for all skill levels.

Play was very slow (on a Sunday). Greens and fairways much greener than other courses in the area however the greens where slower. The course is interesting with lots of trees to make it challenging - bar and club where very friendly as where the members
