Great course to visit

I played a member and so avoided the International Visitor green fee, which seemed excessive. I hired clubs and trolley (trundler) and was looked after well by the staff in the pro shop. The chap was warm and welcoming.
The course was in great condition considering there had been no rain since 10/12 although o was told it gets even drier in the winter!
Greens were well maintained and pretty fast. It's worth reading the course guide before you play to follow the guidance relating to the greens as I found myself in the totally wrong position on the undulating surfaces numerous times! The fairways were pretty grim
And there was plenty of run although again I was told that they get better run in the winter.
Overall it was quite forgiving in most places if you went a little off line but take it further and you'll a need another ball.
I enjoyed the course, one of the best around the region and the 19th was on a par with the course and shop. Well worth a visit
