Wild Boar had dug up some fairways the night before we played but you could tell by the greenkeepers' frustration that they really care about their course. It is set in the hillside overlooking the Med and the views are to die for. The fairways are in the main surrounded by tall pines and there is a sense of getting away from it all apart from a few holes behind the hotel. Clubhouse restaurant extraordinarily good!

A tough course cut through mature pine forest, no rough just bare earth under mature pines, solid driving positioning, the greens had been spiked 10 f
Days earlier,most putts were straight, a great course
