one of the most beautiful courses to be played within half an hour drive from Turin. Hilly terrain and old trees ("le fronde" means "the Boughs") make it a layout that rewards precision off the tees. The views can be breathtaking, especially the second hole tee shot: in the distance upwards from the green you can see an old benedictine monastery perched on a mountain in all its glory.
for high handicap players, the course may be a bit challenging, due to the narrow tee shot angle on most holes, and the veritable forest between holes (hint: autumn play is a no-no, unless you carry a lot of golf balls); but for mid handicap players, this a a very good venue, with every hole except the par threes offering varied playing strategies: the near absence of blind tee shots and the relative shortness make the use of driver off the tee a constant temptation more than a necessity.
