What The Club Says
Windyhill Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland and moorland course measuring 6154 yards in length with a Par of 71 from the White Tees. Four testing Par 3s, 3 Par 5s combined with a series of daunting Par 4s makes Windyhill a challenging test of golf for golfers of all abilities.
There are a number of holes on the course which could be considered to be the signature hole. Most notably either the 7th, 9th, 12th or the 14th.

Great value for money, challenging James Braid layout
We played Windyhill on a wet day but the course stood up to the weather with no problem at all. Lush, firm turf and a really good variety of holes throughout, with some stunning par 3 holes. The last couple of holes are slightly weak but the rest of the course is a real challenge, particularly as the course was playing long. The green were very slow and off course amenities are very dated but if you want a cheap round on a very good course, Windyhill is worth the visit.Reviewer Rating

Always challenging

Hilly challenge
Super course. Great condition, very hilly and some tough scoring holes.Great value too.

Course is in pretty good condition. A bit plain for me and not being a big hitter I struggled on some of the par 4s. Greens were very firm which meant they were fast but difficult to land the ball on without running off.
Didn't use the facilities but they looked pretty good from the outside
