Try it before it disappears.
Short-ish but really enjoyable urban course right next to Wimbledon tennis (really sad to hear the course has been sold to their big neighbours - will really miss it when it goes).Very varied holes offering pretty much everything. Some holes are tight so it really pushes your shot control, and the greens are FAST (almost Augusta-like!). A real challenge to play but you'll enjoy it a lot!

Very tough and well-conditioned course
This is an old-school course with lots of parallel fairways. It is not long on the scorecard but it plays long with plenty of par 4s over 400 yards and some long par 3s. It is cleverly bunkered and the greens are well protected and often elevated. Fairways are tight and it is always in perfect conditions. Don't expect to score well here because the greens and fast and sloping. well worth a visit though.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 74 Handicap: 3.8)

Good slightly demanding course. Bit cramped. Should not be necessary to bulk out review just to get required size of review.

A course that is well lauded and is probably the closest I will get to saying 'I hit a ball on Centre Court' but was slightly disappointing given the esteem people seem to hold it in. At some point it is likely the members will bow to the money offered by Wimbledon Tennis so it was good to play whilst there but despite the greens being in ok condition, the course was not that special or well designed and I walked away thinking I would not revisit.

Greens were super quick was like putting on glass! I ended up hitting most greens in regulation but I ended up 3 putting. Definitely going back for 2nd round.

Short but very challenging course tucked away by Wimbledon Tennis. Amazing greens are like playing at Augusta, and nearly every hole is a challenge. Being quite tight in places means the rough can kill your score. Brilliant course.

Course in great condition. Short but you will be in trouble if you go off line so harder to score round here than you would think. Greens also lovely and very quick, especially down hill putts.

A little jewel in the crown of a course in central London. Not long (no par 5s), but a good challenge for any level of golfer. How they get the course in such good nick after the closure and wear and tear during the Wimbledon tennis each year is a testament to the quality of the course and a very good green keeper! Highly recommended if ever you get the chance to play.

Excellent greens. Paid £35 as I am classed as a local wimbledonian. Short course which for the longer hitters there is no need to use your driver. In great condition with a half way house (only takes cash). Enjoyed a drink in the bar afterwards where we were made very welcome. For the usual £70 green fee I feel you are paying as much for the convenient location as for the course itself.

What a little gem of a course in leafy suburban London. Not long at nearly 5,500 yards with no par 5s, but tight and challenging with plenty of variety to challenge any handicap. We played in very gusty conditions which made the challenge even harder and the course was very wet after prolonged rainfall in the preceding days. However, considering how wet it was and that some of the fairways were still seemingly recovering from the Wimbledon tennis fortnight when the grounds are used for hospitality, TV etc, the course was still in pretty good nick and held up well. Well kept greens and bunkers and the fairways were well sanded too. The members were very friendly and accommodating and the club house/19th hole was most enjoyable. Well worth visiting and I will definitely try and return to play again when the weather is a little kinder.

Very tight compact course. Great use of space.
Greens in great condition and the ball rolled nicely. Course kept in very good condition.
Leave your driver at home and stick an extra wedge in your bag.
