What The Club Says
Though the course is short (par 66 and 5103 yards), it sets a stiff challenge for all standards of golfer.
The course also provides stunning views of the North Sea, of Stonehaven Bay and the town itself, and of the ancient fortress of Dunnottar Castle. Porpoises, dolphins and seals can often be seen in the bay – though we would expect that your concentration on the next shot means you may not notice them! The course is also of particular interest to geologists as it lies on the Highland Fault Line, which divides Scotland from west to east. In fact, the Fault Line splits the 13th and 15th holes with golfers having to carry their tee shots some 100 yards over a gap known locally as The Gully. Lady members and visitors are allowed to walk to the other side before playing.

Great clifftop course with some challenging holes
Really enjoyed playing here, although some of the edges and cliff tops made my knees knock. Very friendly staff. Worth a visit. No buggies as far too hilly. take your climbing boots and be prepared for gusty winds.Reviewer Rating

Amazing seaside views
On a beautiful summers day you will struggle find a more picturesque golf course anywhere in the world.Some challenging par 3s over gorges, are otherwise spoilt by some sloping fairways requiring one leg sorter than the other. Very challenging however when windy.
The club house as well has amazing views over the Stonehaven Bay.
A must play if in the Aberdeenshire area.

We were here for a outing and one guy had to pull out due to pulling a muscle in his back, I called 24hrs before the outing, but they still took his full payment, as they said its a minimum 48hrs notice, I was disappointed with that as we were at another club the previous day and they refunded us no problem at all.
Best thing about the place was the bar staff, they couldn't do enough for you and that's the only reason I'm giving it 3 stars.
