What the club says: Belleisle Golf Course is a classic combination of links and parkland fairways that will test the skills of even the most experienced golfer. The greens are tight and testing and must be approached from the proper angle to avoid playing over the greenside bunkers. When this hidden gem is played alone, or in combination with its "big sister" of Belleisle, there is no more attractive or challenging day's golf in Scotland. We are a private social members club based at Seafield Golf Course situated within the magnificent grounds of the Belleisle Estate in Ayr, adjacent to the championship Belleisle Course.

Ideal for casual golf
I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the course having read some of the other reviews. Yes the tees are a bit scruffy but the greens for a council course were not bad ( played on worse on more expensive courses). Not to long a course so able to get round in 3 hours. Some quirky holes . Course was in great condition, greens were quick with plenty of movement in them to test your putting. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Will be back again.

fun test

Great for the driver
After playing lots of narrow links it was great to get the driver out again.Mostly wide fairways with some nice greens.
A good challenge and fun course to play.

Best condition I've ever seen the course. No waiting on any hole, either, nor did we have anyone playing behind us. Most facilities closed for covid.

new course
Up in Scotland for a customer event at Turnberry and arrived early into the area so played this new course for me....it was a bit wet in parts but really enjoyed it and the views looking down the 6th fiarway towards Arran were stunning(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 78 Handicap: 11.1)

I played this course a year ago and came back, the more things change the more the stay the same. Last time I was disappointed with the greens, this time they were superb. Last time I was impressed by the fairways, this time they were a bit disappointing then again we've just had one of the worst Augusts on record. There's a great clubhouse and cafe, unfortunately we had issues with catering. Keep in mind it's a heavily played public course, it's still very good value for money.

Great course!
Inland (parkland) course with panoramic views and lush fairways. Every hole different and some very memorable. Third time I’ve played here but first time for 5 years so great to see wonderful investment with the new clubhouse. Fully endorsed and a “must play” course in South Ayrshire - mix with Troon Links and Prestwick St.Cuthbert’s like our tour did and you’ve got the perfect mix.
