What the club says: We welcome you to enjoy a round at our course. We may be biased, but we think this is one of the most beautiful, challenging and accessible 9 hole pay to play courses in the area.
Known for being one of the best championship courses around, you can come and play this premium course without paying a premium price. We are working on more accessible and affordable subscription packages for those who wish to play more often.
We are no longer a membership club and welcome everyone to come and enjoy the sport of golf. Come with your friends, family, kids or just yourself. We want everyone to feel welcome, whether you are a seasoned pro or a newcomer. We want you to be comfortable so have no dress code and are available for on the day bookings.

Great Golf Course with Great Value
Great Golf Course with Great value for money!.Friendly and very helpful Staff, The course proving a great test of golf in very good conditio out there with continually improving greens since the re-opening of the course!. Played last Saturday with a couple of mates and will quite happily visit and play again. From a former member of Raglan Golf Course.

Well manicured course in a scenic part of monmouthshire. Would suit all golfers, especially long hitters. Greens are improving each time l play. Forgiving fairways in super surroundings.
Back in the clubhouse, food is excellent, staff are very efficient. A member elsewhere, l often play at Raglan, since the price of 9 hole is so reasonable. Gel yourself there, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Nine holes and temporary greens (whilst the course is reopened) so playing short (at time of visit - April 2021) but PERFECT for beginner and intermediate golfers. At £6 for 9 holes, you won’t find a better value option for improving your long game and experiencing Championship style tees and fairways. We’ll be back as is and look forward also to enjoying the greens when they’re ready.Great staff too - wishing them success!

Friendly, very well presented
A great course that has something for everyone. Well worth a visit. The course has good fairways and the greens are excellent. We played after heavy rain and the course was wet in places but excellent to play on.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 82 Handicap: 8.7)

Four years ago since I last wrote a review of this gem. Huge investment in that time which has made RPGC even more special. Drainage work has produced a dry course even after heavy rain greens are slick and true new bridges and wet areas improvements have been undertaken. Approach to the course vastly improved. You have to come and play here.

Excellent parkland course with a variety of different types of holes and hazards. Tends to remain quite wet around winter but the greens are usually very good.

They were digging up the first for better drainage, but I had reduced green fees, and if it improves the course then it will be worth it. Rest of the course had greens that were simply amazing given the very poor winter. They played better in march than many I have played in the middle of summer!

An interesting course with some changes in elevation-look out for the Captains bunkers.Water does come into play on two holes .The clubhouse and pro are very welcoming . A good society course

The golf course is quite difficult for high handicappers with a few long and blind holes. The facilities are good and staff very friendly.

Wow,This course is what the term "hidden gem" was invented for.Its basically 2 courses the front 9 and back 9.The front 9 is excellent with ditches,ponds and trees that will make you think.The back 9 - WOW every type of hole you could think of and all different,Theres 2 par 3s which are amongst the best there is.Water for a 2nd shot and a oak tree to drive over.And if this is not enough there are superb views and the staff are very freindly and helpfull
