What the club says: Old Colwyn is a par 68 – 5263 yard course designed by the legendary golfer and five times Open Champion, James Braid, and was opened during September 1907. The course consists of one par 5, five par 4‘s and three par 3‘s. The par 3 seventh is regarded as our signature hole where you need to clear three very large Oak trees which stand guard in front of the green. The strength of Old Colwyn is not only the course, but the Club itself. You will be sure to receive a warm welcome if you chose to join us in the clubhouse after your round, for a drink, and to share your stories.
