5 Love this course. For the price you can't beat it. At £10 for 18 holes on a Friday it makes the game easy on the pocket. Plenty of challenging holes that test your fitness as much as your golf.

5 Greens and fairways were well maintained when we played. However, there were too many holes with very steep slopes and blind greens to be enjoyable.

5 Lots of hills, difficult to know where the green is on a lot of holes. Good value at £15 a round on a Sunday

5 Shortish course, good for a beginner like myself. Fantastic views, and not too busy for a Sunday so very little pressure on play. Excellent value for money during the winter, and well worth checking out purely for this reason.

5 Strange wee course, with a number of par 3's and an uphill par 5 that will test the legs no end! Course is in decent condition and there are a few nice holes to play, the blind 14th for one will be discussed after! Given its location wind can be a huge factor in a round, but it is an enjoyable wee course if you don't mind a few par 3's over the norm.

5 An excellent value for money course, especially on a weekday before 10:30am when its only £13, or you can get a 2 for 1 offer sometimes on weekdays where its costs £18 for 2 players.
The course is pretty technical in parts, with well placed bunkers, or blind tee shots, and there's also the challenge of the undulating terrain. The blind 218 yard par 3 'Hit N Hope' as probably my favourite hole. You get the feeling once your ball goes out of site that you'll find it somewhere in the centre of Belfast! Its not a long course, and with only 2 par 5s, both with OOB down the right of them, i didnt find too much use for my driver. You'll love this course if youre a good long iron player. Its pretty windy due to its elevation.
Im not awarding a very good for the course as one hole was out of action in July, and the Green tee boxes were sometimes further forward than the ladies ones for unknown reasons. It also doesnt give you the feel of quality of some of the other Co. Down courses that are within an hours drive. Its perfectly acceptable and a challenge, but you cant really compare to a Royal Co. Down, Belvoir or Clandeboye.
Great facilities in general with a driving range, short game practice area available, good food too.

5 A course that starts with a 180 yard par 3 over a pond suggests thre might be a bit of a challenge ahead and this course doesn't dissapoint. There are also quite a lot of hills to contend with as well so it definitely gets the heart going as you walk around this course. All in all it is quite challenging but if you can stay on the fairways you have a chance of putting a good scrore together. There are a few very well placed out of bounds points - the par 5 second is a slight dog leg left to right with out of bounds up the right hand side which punishes any sort of slice at all. The green is also not visible from the 2nd shot and the line in is pretty much over the corner of the out of bounds markers if you are feeling brave - which this early in the round is not very often. The course is always kepy in fairly good condition and for the money, there are probably not that many courses in Belfast that would compare to this one. It can be quite difficult for non-members to get a game on a Sunday - the best way is to turn up very early - pre 7.30am. Another bonus with this course is the 2-for1 vouchers you can use. You can buy these from 2-for-1 golf and it reduces the cost of a round to a tenner at the weekends - which makes it extremely good value.

5 A fantastic, tough course for players of any level. This incredibly hilly course will have your legs crying out for a rest and you'll reconsider that new powered trolley. The fairways are in excellent condition, the rough is thick and go beyond that and you'll often find one of the plethora of ditches ready to snap up your ball. Many of the holes could argue themselves as the signature hole of this outstanding course. For the price, you'll struggle to find a better course in Northern Ireland.
