What the club says: Lethamhill Golf Course, is located three miles north east of Glasgow city centre and is one of Glasgow's popular municipal courses.

This 18 hole mature parkland course, with many tree-lined holes, is situated right next to the beautiful Hogganfield Loch.

Most Helpful Review

Unfortunately I played it after a period of heavy rainfall and the course was very wet underfoot, so maybe I didn't get to see it at its best.

There are a few nice holes here, but I must admit to being a bit apprehensive of my round as I stood on the 1st tee, which reminded me of vegetable patch after the vegetables had been picked. Whilst you won't get excellent tees on the other 17 holes, they did at least improve.

The greens themselves and fairways weren't actually that bad, so on a decent day I would expect this to be worth another visit. There really aren't any other facilities here, so just don't expect a lot else for your ₤10.70 green fee. - Oct 3 2011

Not bad for a Council course
Good layout and some interesting holes but needs greater care taken on it. Enjoyed my round of golf but the biggest let down was the condition of the course on some holes. The overall layout of the course is good and gives a fair challenge of golf. Over all worth a round.

Avoid at all costs
Really poorly maintained- they should close it down for a year to get it up to scratch-
Doesn't hold any water and the greens a piss poor

£12.60 on a Saturday was great value
. As with Glasgow council courses there are no clubhouse facilities but the course and conditions were great. Very highly recommended and at least weekend visitors were welcome unlike nearly EVERY course in Glasgow and surrounds.

Quite a wet course especially at the 7th, during the winter
But it's a public course, and there is many who skip on
The greens are playable, so summer is defo the time to play this course
And the 18th is the hardest finishing hole I have played.
So I'll give it around 7/10.
