The course is based in over 120 acres of land on Guernsey’s western coast, adjacent to the sandy beach of Vazon Bay. It offers its own unique experience for golf on a delightful Hawtree-designed parkland course.

A great little course, and personally played it quite well, its more challenging than it looks, the greens were great too. And that's about it. I felt shiort changed for the price to be honest, maybe golf is still elitist in Guernsey. Cost £70 (website says 60). It's a par 64 at the end of the day, clearly a lot of building work going on, not all facilities available, so they really shouldn't be charging that sort of price. Members haven't cottoned on to 'ready golf' yet either, or raking bunkers even. Didn't seem to be a bar around due to building works, which was a shame after a hot day. In summary, nice course, but if you want a more fun place, go to Golf19 !

Too expensive for what it offers
This is a relatively short parkland style of course with a number of par 3s and only one par 5 which is not that challenging for long hitters. The par 4s can be a challenge though as water hazards are in the landing zone. There are multiple water hazards throughout the course which require accurate hitting and judging if distances. The greens were in good condition running true. The bunkers are a bit of a mix. Some are well filled with fine sand others have a number of hidden stones under the surface which you have to watch out for in case of damaging clubs. There are no distance maps at the tees as this would be helpful for distances to the hazards. There are distance markers from the greens. When I played there was no pro shop open and the locker rooms required keypad access which as a visitor I did not have. Fortunately an obliging member permitted me access. There is significant building work going on at this location currently but that is no excuse for poor presentation in my view. The green fees need to be reduced until all renovations and rebuilding are complete.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course and surprisingly challenging
An interesting course with only one par 5 and lots of par 3 holes. The course is short, but if you are not straight off the tee and don't check distances for the cleverly placed water hazards you will find trouble, or have a difficult green approach on the par 4s. A very cleverly designed course in excellent condition. Recommended.Reviewer Rating

In great condition
Following what appears to be a lot of effort by the ground staff the course plays really well.Fairways are well defined, rough isn't too rough, and the greens are fast.

Lovely course
Great round, very enjoyable lovely location in the Channel Islands. Just challenging enough for a high handicapper like my self. With course par of 64 is a shorter course, but this didn't.t detract from my enjoyment. Would recommend.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 101 Handicap: )

Water, water everywhere ! This course has water hazards on most holes which gets a bit tedious after a while. Long walks between tee/holes. Greens very boggy and fairways bald in places. However, the clubhouse is good and the food and service excellent. Would return to stay and eat but not play.
