What the club says: Helston Golf is a gem of a golf course situated at the head of the Lizard Peninsular, the most southerly point in Britain. With the sea on three sides and the Helford River to the north, the Lizard Peninsula is almost an island - a high plateau surrounded by sea and studded with numerous caves and beaches.
What is really special about Helston Golf is that the course takes full advantage of the local natural terrain. The layout of the course offers challenging holes with local Cornish stone hedges and breathtaking wooded valley views. This is a deceivingly tricky little course covering a full 18 holes with fabulous greens,

Visited the course again last week and new ownership have improved it immensely. The management explained several new plans and ideas they are keen to implement 2015/16 and I believe it could be a great golfing experience for players of any standard. Friendly and welcoming and without doubt, the best food in golf !!! Can't wait to return as this facility offered exactly what I want out of a day's golf, enjoyment for my family and value for money. Thanks Helston GC ! ????????????

Great little course for practicing, but there are a couple of holes that could be improved. On some holes you don't have a choice not to tee of the platform due to steep slopes all around.

Not an easy par three course but a great challenge for average and beginner golfers alike. Well looked after and the greens would put more expensive courses to shame.Only became a member this year and really looking forward to summer evenings and weekend out on the course. Well done to all the staff

The place has since changed ownership in June 2013. The course now looks better than ever. The rough is cut to a nice length, the greens drain really well and even over the winter we where still able to play on the real greens, No temps.
The staff are really helpful and friendly. Watch out for the dog, if it drops a golf ball by your feet don't be tempted to pick it up and throw it, you'll be their for hours throwing it. Such a nice friendly dog and nice to see when you go up to the club.
So nice to have this little gem of a course on my doorstep.

very welcoming and even tho raining was a very well drained course.puts some bigger courses to shame. will defo play again on nxt years hols.

Lovely, fresh cut course that is well managed and has a lot of potential. A bit pricey compared to previous owners, but still a very accomplished par 3 course.
