What The Club Says
Impenetrable gorse abounds within the open nature of the heathland. There are few trees other than those on the boundaries; with plenty of space the original open character of the terrain has been retained. As to the bunkers, Ganton has few peers; the player who is bunkered is punished for his error. In an age when golf designers are making bunkers less penal, this is a welcome feature.

Memorable
from the moment we arrived!!!pouring rain, guy in the pro shop and caddie master could not be anymore helpful by saying wait till the rain stops and we will get you out on the course dont worry about your tee time.
the friendliness in the clubhouse from the staff second to none, and also members that were also there. not to mention the magnificent history aorund the place a visit to the clubhouse was amazing on its own.
as for the course the condition was fantastic the layout fantastic the challenge amazing if at times to good for me. there is no way you cannot enjoy the whole experience at Ganton. I WILL be back.

Top, top quality
What a great course. Deservedly rated a top 100 course. Fairways and greens are pristine. Stay out of the fairway bunkers and you can score well. Most golfers will not have experienced anything like them. Deep and difficult, the only option in most is to pop it out and take the medicine. Beautiful and brutal in equal measure.Reviewer Rating

AM AM Comp
Played an open comp here and loved it. We were genuinely welcomed and both myself and my playing partner had a wonderful time. Golf was tough. Bunkers are deep and need to be avoided at all costs. A wonderful experience and the course is as good as its reputatuion suggests. Don't hesitate

Magnificent
Absolutely stunning as a course, never played before but always wanted to, enjoyed the challenge of tight fairways, hundreds of bunkers and great greens it’s a round you need to be accurate and think your way around.We really enjoyed it
Only downside it’s a tad pricey but as a treat why not
