Decent course - right next to Ben Nevis. Lovely views but course condition could be improved particularly a couple fairways

Not an enjoyable course to play. The lack of grass on the fairways posed problems. The only upside was the surrounding scenery.

Sadly the course wasn't at it's best due to the wet weather that the area has suffered this summer. You had to make sure to hit the ball long as there was no run on the fairway so you had to make sure you hit it long in the air. Other than that the course was great if a little rough around the edges.

As I was visiting the area I was using hire clubs and that might not of helped my round and when playing the 4th I had a spot of trouble seeing which green I was after as no course planner was available.

Willie behind the bar was very friendly and made the experience even better making me feel like a member after my round. I was about to walk back to town over 3 miles away and one of the members offered to drive me back.

If I am ever around again I would definitely visit again just hope the ground under foot is a little drier to enable to get full value for your shot.

The course is need of a great deal of tender loving care. Apart from two holes the fairways were covered with daisies, making locating your ball difficult, and the rough from the tee box to the fairway resembled a farmers field in places. Fabulous scenery however and some challenging holes, but spoilt by its condition. Won't be be going back sorry to say. Doesn't seem to have improved since I last played there in 2009.

This is a challenging course, not the best kept course but has fantastic scenary around. Some great holes to be played, 1,3 & 6 are my favourite. They will let you play 9 or 18 holes and the club has a friendly laid back atmosphere.
