What The Club Says
Built on two levels, the course offers wide and lush fairways on the upper section - with mature oak trees and attractive lakes dissecting the 11th and 12th fairways on the level below. One of the finest holes in the west country, the spectacular 170 yard, par-3 seventh has been described as the most picturesque in the county. It plunges from an elevated tee to a large green 100 feet below. Every hole presents a new and different challenge and with four alternative length courses, it is suitable for every standard of golfer, from the novice to the very low handicapper.

Worth Playing
We used to play this course - 10 to 15 years ago. Fantastic layout and potential.Yesterday was the first time back since then and the course was much, much better.
Fairways and greens were playable. In fact I would say that the fairways looked fantastic. Greens were slow but consistent and well maintained. There was significant work being undertaken on bunkers and tees.
This was always a very scenic and delightful course to play.
I suspect that the course is pretty wet in winter. But in summer it makes a really good day out.
I also felt that there was a buzz around the clubhouse when we got back in.
We will come back next year.
