Playing the best have ever played it! This is a local course for me that I play regularly, it has gone downhill the last few years but thanks to some tender love and care it has finally re found its beauty! The fairways are lush, the greens are back to being proper greens again. The rough is consistent. This course has a great layout and is a real challenge for the amateur golf due it its good length. My only criticism would be the tees. They could do with some sorting to get them flat and grassy rather than hacked to bits. Always loved this course though and provides a new challenge every time I play it!

Great course and condition is much improved
The course had gone down hill fro the last 18 months. They have a new green keeper and in such a short space of time has done a fabulous job. The greens are amazing and will only get better.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 88 Handicap: 16.3)

Amazing!
Finally a Head Greenkeeper who knows what he is doing! Course is back from the brink and the greens are playing better than they ever have done. I have been visiting for years now and was very impressed on my last visit although the course was on a short 9.Reviewer Rating

Recovering
After last years issues with the greens, I'm pleased to say they're almost back to an acceptable standard.Pace of play was slow today, but we still enjoy this course as its a real challenge amongst the mature surroundings

Great value, worth a visit.
Brandon is a really good course and an interesting layout. However it is a bit scruffy in places, perhaps as a lack of investment as it's council owned. With a bit more spent on it it could be great.Reviewer Rating
