What the club says: We have a first class and demanding 9 hole course with 18 different teeing grounds.
The course is situated in undulating parkland with mature trees and panoramic views of Hertfordshire.

Nice little course only 9 hole but can be played as 18 as it has two different tees per hole got a few challenging holes to push you self. Over all tho a good course play.

still parts of course suffering from the winter rain,so boggy,wish they would protect the tees more,should still be going off the mats,should close the course more after heavy rain.

Played 9 holes this evening greens were running fast but soft enough to make approaches stop. For the first time I've played the course I enjoyed it don't think I will use the driver as much if I play again not the widest course but also not really narrow either. Good condition for a public course will play it again I'm sure score 44 par was 35 so 9 over

Went to BGCC as a part of a Groupon Voucher. Food was good, facilities very good and course was in decent nick.
As said by other reviewers the fact you play the course twice for your 18 holes isn't ideal but the different tee positions helps to give the "feel" of a different experience however once you are on the fairway (or in the rough) you are basically on the same course.
Will play again as it only took 4 hours to whizz round as a two-ball on a Saturday afternoon.
