Splendid challenge (esp in the wind)
By far the best course on the island. Greens very good, fairways well-maintained and there is evidence of further improvements being made. Not a long course until you visit in the wind!. Reaching the first 2 holes in regulation is a challenge. Plenty of raised greens to test your wedge play. Hole 9 is great fun, featuring as it does a grassy ravine which you can opt to play from or over. The 18th drive has glorious drives of the rugged coast behind the clubhouse. If you come to North Wales do not miss this course from your trip.Reviewer Rating

Excellent course
Played course in cloudy and windy conditions. Course in excellent condition with well manicured fairways and true greens. Challenging tee shots and some interesting holes with fantastic views across the bay.Reviewer Rating

Won’t be back due to ignorant member
We booked a round of golf for Boxing Day 2022. Having travelled 120 miles to the course only to find the clubhouse and pro shop closed. Had to get changed in the car park. No scorecards available. To make things worse we were approached by an ignorant club member. Some holes had a temp mat for teeing off. Bear in mind not all holes had mats only some of them. On one particular hole we didn’t see a mat, we teed off and about 50 yards in front of us beside a bush we see the mat we should have used. We’ve made a really simple mistake due to bull bays lack of clear signage. Nothing intentional. We then see this guy following us. He approaches us and claims he’s been watching us not use the mats on a number of holes. This is absolute rubbish. I challenged him and yes I admitted we did on that hole but not anywhere else as we didn’t see a mat due to it being so far forward. He said I’m gonna get yous ejected from the course. He continued to mouth off at us. I don’t travel 120 miles to listen to someone like him. He was wearing sports shorts. Clearly no golf attire and a serious lack of manners. As he’s mouthing off, I said why did you take our booking when everything is closed. You should have emailed me and we would never have travelled. He said that’s not bull bays prob, it’s golf Now’s prob. He continued to mouth off. My advice to anyone thinking of playing here as a visitor. Be very careful of this ignorant member even tho he doesn’t follow golf etiquette with his sports shorts on. We’ve played Anglesey and Nefyn. The welcome from members at these other clubs is something your not going to find at Bull Bay unfortunately. Don’t waste your money. I will share my experience of bull bay golf club on every social media platformReviewer Rating
