What the club says: Buckpool Golf Club is built on sand and has fast, rolling fairways, often lined by tall mature gorse bushes. Swailes and hollows are littered around the approaches to slick undulating greens. The course was designed by John Henry Taylor. J H Taylor was one of the fabled ‘Great Triumvirate’ of world golf at the time along with Harry Vardon and James Braid.

Using 1/2 price vouchers makes good value excellent. Greens are second to none. Members can be noisy on the course and mobile phones a damn nuisance! Friendly helpful staff but the showers lack water, I understand the members have been ignored when they have mentioned this.
I will return here but only for golf

Another very warm welcome from Maureen in the clubhouse, excellant lunch before heading out. A bit of a blustery day on the hilltop golf course but fantastic combination of links and parkland.

The greens were a credit, just like putting on a snooker table unfortunately we didn't take advantage of this. Some very interesting holes and again well worth a visit, especially using the 2 for 1 vouchers.
