What the club says: The Branshaw Golf Club is set out over moorland and is comparatively easy walking, offering superb views over the surrounding countryside. Although not over-difficult the course demands great accuracy from the tee, and the ability to play a variety of approach shots to greens that are invariably in excellent condition all year round.

Lovely course. Greens and fairways were exceptional, considering the weather. A real test when the wind was blowing!!

I played this course 20 years ago and I don't remember it being this good enjoyed everything about it . Pro very helpful and talkative, the beers were reasonably priced ( less than ?12 for three pints) will definitely be coming back even though it was 1he 15 mins away. Big thumbs up to all connected with the course

Quite surprised with the course ... not as hilly as you would imagine.
There are a few blind shots and a few tees near to greens.
Really friendly clubhouse.

Nice course worth playing
Second time playing Branshaw GC, first time was a few years ago on a very windy day. Today hardly any wind and what a difference. A few changes made since my last visit, all for the better. Course is well set up with a few longish par 4s and tricky par 3s like the 11th at 219 off yellows a good straight hit required to keep your round going.. Green rolled well if a little slow. First time playing here and couldn't help being impressed. The course isn't the longest you'll face, but the fairways are really good, the greens are decent, and the views are stunning.
There are a few blind tee shots, but it's not an especially difficult walk. It's also the sort of course that all standards of golfer can play and still enjoy.
My favourite hole by far is the par 4 7th, which is played over a marker post and then downhill to the green.
Highly recommended, and an absolute bargain of a green fee.

Lovely course
Never visited before & ended up playing twice in a week! Really enjoyable course, great views, mix of challenging holes and some straightforward. Blind tee shots, ponds and gorse add to the challenge. Only ?20 on a Sunday afternoon was a bargain.Reviewer Rating

Although the greens have recently been tined they are still playing well and don't detract from a really good course which is excellent value for money.

Played when it was windy and for 1st bash round here made it quite tricky, accuracy was key on some holes, that said course was fantastic, greens very good and the members we spoke to were really friendly as were the lads in the pro shop,great friendly course, will definitely be back.

Branshaw golf course has undergone a lot of work over the winter and it shows. Greens were exceptional if a little slow but a true roll. Two new greens on back 9 make for an interesting end to the round. Always a warm welcome and great value for money with views to die for on a clear day.
Not a long course but certainly an interesting one where striaght driving is a must. Well worth a visit and will be coming back again certainly.

Played here on 20th September 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed this interesting and enjoyable 18 hole golf course. I found out that the course was designed by both James Braid and Alistair Mackenzie which is a rarity. already booked in for another visit in November 2013.

This golf club is a must visit. Played it twice in April 2013, fantastic and breath taking views of Yorkshire and Lancashire. Greens in superb condition and great facilities, clubhouse and pro shop. Brilliant vale for money, highly recommended.

Always a tough track,especially if windy. Located on top of the moors near Oakworth (Bronte Country) The greens and fairways are always in good order with heather & gorse coming into play on a number of holes.
The only disappointment is the last two holes (a blind short par 4 back to the clubhouse, followed by a blind par 3) otherwise excellent
